One hydraulic press. Multiple Fabrication Possibilities.
PROMOTECH PRO-MTHP Multi Tool Hydraulic Press is a robust solution that can significantly boost productivity and efficiency in various industries dealing with pipe structures, plumbing systems, metal structures, and fabricated components.

One Platform, Four Applications
The PRO-MTHP is supplied without tooling, allowing users to configure a solution tailored to their manufacturing processes:
- notches in pipes
- 90-degree V notches in angle bars
- 90-degree cuts in angle bars
- straight cuts in flat bars
Users of PROMOTECH hydraulic punchers, such as the PRO-60 HP and PRO-110 HP, can use the same HPP 700/1.5 hydraulic power pack to operate the PRO-MTHP. Other electric or manual hydraulic power units may also be used, provided they meet the required technical specifications.

How does PRO-MTHP improve the production efficiency?
The PRO-MTHP combines several essential fabrication operations into a single hydraulic platform. Thanks to the automatic hydraulic return of the cylinder, punching time can be as quick as only 8 seconds. This significantly increases throughput compared to manual processing methods.
With PRO-MTHP manufacturers can streamline fabrication workflows and lower production costs. Instead of investing in several dedicated machines or relying on slower manual processes, manufacturers gain a versatile workstation that improves efficiency, precision, and repeatability.

Seamless Integration with Existing Hydraulic Power Pack
With up to 47 tons of punching force, the PRO-MTHP is built for demanding fabrication and metal processing applications. The machine can be powered by the same proven HPP 700/1.5 hydraulic power pack used with other PROMOTECH hydraulic punchers: PRO-60 HP and PRO-110 HP. This compatibility provides manufacturers with a cost-effective way to add new processing capabilities without purchasing an additional hydraulic power source.

When used with the HPP 700/1.5 hydraulic power pack and foot pedal that controls the machine, the PRO-MTHP offers a fully automated punching and return cycle.
It delivers:
- 700 bar working pressure
- 1.5 L/min pump output
- 2000 W motor power.
Alternative hydraulic power units, whether electric or manual, may also be used, provided they meet the required technical specifications, including a maximum working pressure of 700 bar and a maximum oil flow rate of 1.8 litres per minute.
Tailored to Your Production Needs
The PRO-MTHP is engineered as a modular solution that enables a wide range of cutting and notching operations within a single workstation. By adding a chosen tooling, it can be configured to match specific production requirements. This way users can build a workstation perfectly suited to their fabrication tasks.

Pipe Notching Tool
One of the most common challenges in pipe fabrication is achieving an accurate fit-up before welding. Poorly prepared pipe ends often result in gaps, increased welding time, and inconsistent weld quality.

The pipe notching tool quickly produces precise curved, semi-circular notches in pipe ends, allowing two pipes to fit tightly together at a 90-degree angle. For manufacturers producing railings, pipe frameworks, process piping, support structures, and similar assemblies, correct joint geometry significantly accelerates production while improving repeatability.

Configurable to Match Your Applications
In case of pipes, Multi Tool Hydraulic Press can be configured for 2″, 2½” and 3″ pipes. Rather than paying for tooling that may never be used, customers can configure the PRO-MTHP around their actual production requirements:
- Die + Punch for cutting notches in 2-inch pipe
- Die + Punch for cutting notches in 2½-inch pipe
- Die + Punch for cutting notches in 3-inch pipe

Depending on their applications, users may select one, two, or all three punch and die sets, enabling the machine to process multiple pipe diameters on a single workstation. Additional sizes are available on request (max pipe ID 90 mm).
Angle Bar Cutting: 90-degree shearing tool
Traditional methods of cutting angle bars often involve sawing or abrasive cutting that can generate chips, sparks, noise, and result in additional finishing work. PRO-MTHP with the 90-degree shearing tool, on the other hand, makes a clean cut through an angle bar, producing perfectly square edges ready for assembly.
The tool accommodates angle bars with leg lengths (width) up to 75 mm and thickness up to 8 mm.

90-degree V-notching tool
Creating accurate corners from angle bars typically requires multiple processing steps. The 90-degree V-notching tool simplifies this operation by removing a precise V-shaped 90-degree angle notch section from the profile.

This enables the angle bar to be folded accurately into a 90-degree corner, making it particularly useful for the production of frames, supports, housings, and structural components.

As illustrated by the red cut lines above, the 90-degree V-Notching Tool offers more than just conventional V-notching. Depending on the positioning of the workpiece relative to the tooling, operators can produce a variety of other cut profiles, including corner relief cuts, rectangular cut-outs, and other custom profiles.

The ability to operate from both the front and the side of the machine, provides greater flexibility when handling different workpiece sizes and shapes. This flexibility allows a single tool to perform multiple fabrication tasks, reducing the need for dedicated tooling while expanding application possibilities. The tool accommodates angle bars with leg lengths (width) up to 75 mm and thickness up to 6 mm.
Flat Bar shearing tool
The flat bar shearing tool can process flat bars up to 150 mm wide and 8 mm thick. It provides fast, clean cutting of metal flat bars with minimal material distortion. Instead of relying on slower cutting technologies, operators can quickly cut bars to specific lengths quickly and efficiently, maintaining excellent edge quality.

Workstation configurations of Multi Tool Hydraulic Press
A single workstation can perform multiple cutting and notching operations, eliminating the need for several dedicated machines and helping fabricators make more efficient use of valuable workshop space.
Unlike conventional stationary presses that are permanently anchored to the floor, the PRO-MTHP is a mobile solution that can be easily relocated wherever it is needed. This gives manufacturers greater operational flexibility. The machine can be quickly moved between production areas, enabling manufacturers to respond smoothly to changing production needs while maximizing workspace efficiency.

High-stand workstation (optional)
While the PRO-MTHP comes standard as a compact bench-top workstation, it can be easily transformed into a freestanding high-stand workstation using an optional set of four press columns (painted red). This flexibility enables the workstation to be tailored to individual production layouts, optimizing ergonomics and operator’s comfort without compromising stability or performance.

Designed for durability and ease of operation, the PRO-MTHP combines an open, easily accessible working area with exceptional structural rigidity. The heavy-duty steel frame is fabricated from high-quality steel and finished with a durable powder coating to enhance corrosion resistance. Engineered to withstand high loads and intensive daily use, the hydraulic press delivers reliability, and long service life expected in modern fabrication shops.
